Not so friendly staff these days

Won't quote prices over phone.

I had lots of coin sets and some jewelry to sell. Gene is very pleasant to do business with. He gave me fair prices on everything. GM Coins and Precious Metals will be my go-to shop if I have coins or jewelry to sell in the future.

Very knowledgeable staff. Friendly and they know their business. Very fair pricing. No scams or sneaks. This is one of the most legit and professional shops I've ever done business with.

I wanted to sell some of my 18k gold so I called this business today and was told by Gene over the phone that they offer 95-97% of spot value. I took my gold in there and they ran chemical tests to inform me that this was 14k gold. I was already confused. I asked if they had Ann XFR machine and was told they are getting one in a couple months. She then came up with an offer of $1800 for all of it. I looked at this and said wait I was just told this by Gene, and she told me that he meant 85%. ( I have the original call recorded for anyone's amusement). I then looked at the numbers again and they didn't look like 85% so I took my phone out and they were offering less than 70%. I brought this to their attention and was told blah blah blah....so I decided that I won't be doing business with them so i asked for the time piece to be put back in that they took out for weight. I was told they cant because they arent a jeweler. I wonder why they took it of then? Dont go here unless you enjoy bad customer service, being lied to then low-balled 100% do not recommend .

I had a great experience at GM coins. They honored their pricing for silver i layed away. Also they are just a helpful to my kids when they want to buy just $1 of foreign coins as with folks buying expensive items. I definitely recommend

Very friendly family feel at this place. I took a bunch of old coins. My dad passed down to me and some Silver here. I think I went there a total of three or four times and each time I left feeling like I got an honest deal from a nice group of people They communicated very well about each individual piece that I brought in. I would definitely recommend GM Coins and precious metals to anyone wanting to either buy or sell gold, silver or coins
