Fantastic coin shop. Troy is knowledgeable and always fair with his pricing. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

Extremely fair, straightforward and efficient transaction as I sold several older coins and I am a very inexperienced person in this arena! Thank you Colorado Coin!

I called today with a bunch of questions. Although I could sense the gentleman was busy, he still took time to answer my questions, although a bit hastily. He convinced me to come in tomorrow to get more info. I can’t wait to see the shop and meet the folks running it.

Absolutely the best service and care from Troy. He is professional, knowledgeable and most importantly, he truly cares that the sales experience is one that invites repeat business. This will be a great choice for anyone seeking an honest and trustworthy business. No need to think twice about your decision!!

I visited Colorado Coin today to try to sell some Morgan sliver dollars. I had 10 coins all in BU condition, although they were common dates. They offered me $32 per coin, which is about $5 or $6 below the silver value. When I questioned them about this, they told me that silver is not worth the price that it trades for today. ??? Be very wary about doing business with this company. They do not appear to be reputable. In reaction to Colorado Coin's statement about my review, I was not offered $35, I was offered $32. The coins I presented were in BU condition and most of them didn't have any significant bag marks. The were definitely not cleaned! Definitely don't do business with this company.

Well, I had a bad enough experience to feel compelled enough to leave a one star review. I really don’t like to do that, because I know it can be bad for small business and I like to support those, but what the heck is going on here, maybe he had a bad day. The guy was not welcoming to deal with. He was impatient, gruff, a bit rude and generally condescending like he was inconvenienced to have to come out of his back room and talk to a customer. Yes, I’m new at investing in bullion but at a shop that sells bullion you would think they would at least be nice and educational or even happy that someone wants to invest in bullion, as that would mean a potential new repeat customer. Not this guy, he talked to me like I was dumb or an inconvenience to his day. Obviously I don’t know much about spot prices, taxes on bullion or the different quotes on the commodity. I don’t think that warrants being rude though. It looks like the owner of this business typically reads and respond to reviews - I do hope that you see this and can take to heart the importance of customer service. I would have loved to purchase some bullion, but I simply will never do business with someone who possesses that kind of demeanor. If I wanted the kind of client experience you expect to get at a used car dealership, I would’ve gone there, not to a bullion dealer. I’m not sure about the other reviews regarding the owner as such a pleasant person, maybe I was dealing with a bad employee and not the owner but I have a feeling he was the former. Maybe his friends/family posted all of those. Maybe he just had a bad day or maybe both. I just would not recommend coming here if you want to be treated with respect. Buy bullion online on facebook groups or at another retailer, you’ll get better pricing in private party transactions anyway. Edit: I appreciate the comment from the owner in response to my review. I respect a man that’s willing to do that. Next time I’m in centennial I might stop back in. The other reviews talking about him as a good guy are probably right and as I mentioned in my original post, I probably caught the man at a bad time. Thanks for your integrity, I can do business with a man that has that.

Brought in some international gold coins recently to sell. He politely informed me that he doesn't buy that product and referred me to a couple of other places in town. One of his referrals worked out for me, so I brought him some American silver coins and the transaction was fair and easy. I would bring American coins here to sell if I had more of them. LOL.
