Went to gold union today to see what my necklace and coin were worth. Peter was able to assist me and got me what I wanted. He was very thorough and assisted me throughout the whole process. Thank you guys.

Stay far away from Gold Union. I went in to sell some gold jewelry and was helped by Peter — yes, the same Peter already mentioned in other bad reviews. I should have taken that as a warning. He spent nearly 30 minutes “testing” my gold, putting on a whole performance like it was some kind of lab experiment. After all that theatrics, he came back with a laughable $1,000 offer. Completely insulting. When I told him to give me my gold back, suddenly the offer jumped to $1,700 on the spot. So which is it? If you can pay $1,700, why try to rob me at $1,000 first? His excuse? “Policy.” What a joke. Let’s be clear — I understand buyers pay under spot to make money. That’s normal. What’s not normal is trying to lowball someone by hundreds of dollars just to see if they’re uninformed or desperate. I walked out and went straight to Al Quds Jeweler on Cedar and Herndon and got over $2,000 for the exact same gold. The entire transaction took five minutes. No fake testing drama. No games. No nonsense. Gold Union doesn’t “test” gold — they test how much they can get away with ripping you off. Avoid at all costs.
