True that some people cannot be customer oriented, but why are they usually in a customer service job? She is an owner so makes no sense. They are honest for sure but I get what the reviewers are saying. He is a good guy but you usually get to talk to her and she only does foreign coins! I go there to upgrade my Morgan Dollar Collection, problem is their cabinet with Morgan Dollars is almost on the floor and at my age 72 I cannot hardly see them at all. I like dealing in Silver Dollars so much I thought of asking John if I could share a corner of his shop to arrange a display of graded dollars so people could actually see them. I would not mind putting in a couple days a week if I could sell some of my Silver Dollars also. I take super sharp photos for my eBay sales because you can only sell what you actually have. I plan to have John appraise my Incredible Morgan Collection this month so maybe I will see if he is interested in possibly working together some.....

I don't know why this place has so many negative reviews. I went in to sell some jewelry because I really needed to make some money. The lady who runs the place was super nice to me and totally helpful. I would highly recommend this place and truly don't understand why people have negative things to say. I am so grateful for the owner. She gave me zero attitude and I had a great experience.

Edit: unfortunately, we were unable to locate a receipt and my son does not remember getting one when he purchased silver bars here. The only proof we have is my credit card transaction. When we came back to sell the silver, this woman accused him of trying to sell fake bars. The very silver we bought directly from her. He does not recall her testing the silver in front of him at time of sale. This business should be investigated for fraud. Original post: This woman is so rude every time my son and I have come here. I would never recommended giving her any business. She disrespected my son (almost an Eagle Scout btw) and yelled at me when I approached her door with my dog even though I wasn’t coming in. I will post an update as to why I finally decided to leave a review.

Easily one of the rudest shop owners i have ever encountered. I stopped in to browse as we were passing through from out of town. I walked in with the mindset of making a small purchase (maybe a couple ounces of silver or a few grams of gold) to show some support to a local small business by taking home a cool keepsake. That thought was immediately extinguished within 1 second of stepping foot in the door purely based on the sour look the lady gave me as I walked in, followed up by no greeting at all and not a single word uttered to me the entire time I looked around. She was also very rude to a gentleman who came in to ask if she was buying at the moment. Not a place i would spend my money.

Came in to sell some placer. She was nice and taught me how to clean it. Came back a few days later with clean placer gold and paid exactly what she says. Honest and Great service. Thank you again!
