The best coin/currency shop in the area. Their prices are very competitive and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, Jeff is my go to guy, we hit it off the first time I visited over 6 yrs ago, but it has become a great pleasure visiting the store for coin/currency — Brian F.

I brought in a Alexander the Great coin that is AU condition and encapsulatesd by the Franklin Mint and the original wooden case display box just to see how much they would offer me? This coin sold out for $650 originally! I was offered $70 for it today and was told it s common and can be bought for $100! Wow... really? What world is that? You can.t even come close to finding one in that condition for less than $600! Absolute crooks ! Don.t bring anything to them! They should be ashamed of themselves! A similar one sold on eBay for $2,788 yesterday and it wasn't a Franklin Mint piece! Shame on San Diego Coin and Bullion!!! I will never buy another item or sell anything to them! Smile in your face and rob you without a gun!

Everybody here is very rude and condescending. They also only accept personal checks on purchases over $1000- no cash, no cashiers checks. But at least they all feel very cool with their handguns strapped to their waists.

My husband and I visited quite a few coin shops around San Diego. We called the shop to see if they had what we were looking for . Jeff answered the phone and was very courteous and friendly. My husband stopped by and just left the shop and told me he had the best interaction. I believe it was Jeff’s brother that helped him. I can’t thank you guys enough for the thoughtful gesture that you showed my husband. We will make sure we shop at your store first for coins and tell all of our friends and family about you guys.

My husband is becoming an avid coin collector, we were visiting SD and came across this coin shop. Insane collection, kind and courteous customer service, a great experience all around! Will definitely be making this a regular stop whenever we are back in SD!
