Called just for an inquiry as to whether or not this coin shop would be able to check some coins I had and to help me determine if by chance there was any collector value in them. Whoever answered the call was dismissive towards my inquiry, and it honestly disheartened me that no interest was expressed despite being referred to come check this place out. They’re only looking for silver value and good value, folks. Find actual collectors out there willing to look at your collection. Also shame on the shop for assuming it was just one coin that I was going to have checked out. Whoever answered the phone was a smart aleck at best.— Adrian, Dec 2025
I had a great experience dealing with Pasadena coin. I think a lot of people mistake someone’s straight forward concise answers for some sort of slight or dismissal, it’s just a way to cut time down when you’re experienced and extremely busy. Might not like the answer but if you don’t believe it you can always verify elsewhere.
