Very nice and knowledgeable.
Very nice little shop. Visiting a friend in the hospital from out of town and stopped by. Didn’t realize they were mostly by appointment, but luckily I snuck in between appointments and had a lovely conversation about precious metals and other coin shops. Definitely worth a visit.
These people are a waste of time. Said they were interested in a coin I had but when I got there he told me it was fake and rudely threw me out, I went across the street to the nicest people who tested it and then purchased it. This owner is full of himself. Wouldent go back even if he was the only game in town.

Had a great experience with Oakland Silver and Gold. Had never sold gold before, so we called first and got a quote on our coin. I made an appointment, went in sold it and was back on the street with a check in my pocket in 5 minutes. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and knew her business. I'd highly recommend them to anyone wanting to sell gold coins. My guess is that they are great when you buy good too. A good experience all the way around!
Oakland silver and gold is bar none the best shop I’ve ever been to. Their customer service is wonderful, they’re extremely knowledgeable as well as honest. I leave Oakland silver and gold feeling confident in my purchases every time….never had a bad experience. I commend them for separating themselves from other shops during these extreme market conditions. The pressure of the unknown has caused many shops to close their doors but Oakland silver and gold remains in a league of their own. I’m grateful to be able to preserve my wealth during uncertain economic times, and it wouldn’t be possible without them
