If I knew the return policy was that I could never return after the box was opened, I would not have bought from North Bay Hobby. Come to think of it he was the one who opened the box at the shop. I spent 700 on an rc car, couple batteries, and charger. I started to charge the battery at home and it exploded, blowing up both the charger and the charging station. I did follow the instructions in the package on how to do the charging and luckily I was not standing next it and it was outside. I called to return the car but he said no returns and he would only work with me to resell since it is a used car. I never got to play with car and do not feel comfortable to charge another battery. Due to the lack of information given to me, the disregard of care for the product malfunctioning, and the lack of customer service I will never shop here again or recommend.
I cant give Ed @ North Bay Hobby enough stars, I have bought a few cars / trucks from him and he has helped me through some issues other hobby shop owners would of just looked the other way and said it was my problem and to contact the manufacture. If you are new to the sport or a pro trust me go and see Ed for all your RC needs.
Well it's a great place. But it's not open to the public to just walk in. U have to call and make an appointment first. The gold exchange store guy next door owns it and is looking to sell the entire store. But he had exactly what I was looking for. Super cool guy. Will be going back again when I'm in the area. 👍👍

Ok where do i start ! First off ive been around many years and the hardest thing to find is Honest and Good folks. So i had some gold coins i didnt want to sell but I KINDA HAD TO with life in Cali bein so dam expensive. I never thought id find a good honest person to give me a great quote. I searched alot but finally found Jimmy here. Im more than happy im thrilled at what he gave me for these precious coins. Plus his shop has almost any kind of remote drone or boat or chopper etc. Im sure if he doesnt have it he will try his best to find it for you. My point, so i dont write a book is Jimmy is Honest and will NOT charge too much and will give you a Great price for your whatever!!! I think you get the point. Jimmy is your man. Thanx again Jimmy
