I usually love this store but I had a bad experience today , maybe because I went when it seemed slow and I had just left the gym so my hair was a little messy , but they kept following me around the store , I didn’t have a large bag with me so idk why it seemed like I was being followed, I was simply looking and I had decided to get a stuffy but after the 7th time I realized they were just following me for no reason, I felt so uncomfortable so i decided to leave.
Loved this place so much! So many DVDs to choose from! Love to come back there anytime!
We love this store! With being a vendor located in the basement, we are greatful for the security the owners and staff provide during these hard times. They create a safe environment for not only the booth vendors but for the customers.
I’ve come to this place many times over the past 7 years, and never did I have a bad experience. However today completely changed how I see this place and its customer service. I was followed by multiple workers, was asked questions as if I had no real reason to be there and was just loitering, and overall felt singled out and incredibly uncomfortable. I didn’t realize this was a reoccurring issue until I looked at the recent reviews. Yikes! In addition to that, I didn’t appreciate how standoffish and rude the cashiers were. If it couldn’t have been anymore bizarre, they were all at the registers eating pizza! They didn’t even have the courtesy to wipe their greasy, Little Caesars hands before handling my purchases.
Very unfortunate that the staff is extremely unfriendly and rude. I’ve come here a couple times and without fail I get followed and stalked through the entire store to the point I’ve felt like I’m actively being racially profiled. I’ve heard other people of color have similar experiences in this store therefore I will not be returning. I was paying for my items and the staff just don’t know how to provide proper customer service. Save your time and go to your wildest dreams antique store, staff will actually treat you with human decency 👍
