How do they pay for gold?
A while ago I had purchased a few gold and silver coins from Continental Coin & Jewelry. I was happy with the service and my purchase at the time. My aunt decided to retire, sell her house, and almost everything in it and move to Greece. She was having a very difficult time getting someone good and trustworthy to hold an estate sale. She got very disappointed and felt very vulnerable with people saying one thing and end up doing something else. I suggested to call and/or visit Continental Coin & Jewelry and did so. Without any hesitation it was the best decision she made. We were greeted by Jennifer and then Javier. Not only we received great service and guidance by Jennifer, Javier, Jeff, and the owner, but also my aunt got by far a better value for her things (almost 30% more) and did not have to pay the 35% or 40% fee to the estate liquidator. Not only they helped us in the store on Sepulveda, but also came to my aunt's house to see and assist her with the rest of the things including antique furniture, artwork and piano. They were not able to make an offer on everything but Jennifer guided her as to where to go and what to do next, which was a very kind & thoughtful. Truly truly exceptional service. They waste your time totally. The price I call for the gold price to sell and the price their offer to buy on the site is a totally different game. I understand they need to make a profit and I am very reasonable to lower my expectations. But they play too much and are too nasty. I just walk out!! They tear you down if you behave honestly and respectfully. -Please stop misleading the readers. While initially, I walked in and even allowed your lower price at the site. The final price was lowered again by you at the last minute. As a result, I decided to walk out and take my Gold bars to S/M Gold in Studio City nearby. To my satisfaction, I received $2,550 more due to their recognition of the superb condition of my gold bars. I appreciate your gritty tactic turned to my benefit. I am so glad I did not sell my bars at your place.
I’m a young collector , I don’t play games when it’s on buying my silver and gold , I went in and I asked for a 04 eagle graded and he said yeah but there 55-100+ I said okay like if I didn’t know the price for them . It’s not like I’ve been collecting for a couple months. So just bc I go in looking like I can’t afford anything doesn’t mean I can’t , I took a maple round and a buffalo round also the 04 eagle . I don’t appreciate the disrespect, not like if I was going to waist there time I knew what I was going in for and discrimination was not one of them . Never will I ever go in there again sales person on my recipe says #2 (older white male)

Just went by this morning, always a little skeptical of metal stores, gave me 84ea for silver 1oz coins. Very fair, very professional, they definitely have a repeat customer! I highly recommend them. Thank you for the honesty!
