Can't praise Jake highly enough. Took an odd lot of silver coins in and he took the time to evaluate each one. He paid me more money if the coin normally sold above spot silver price. A similar store further down Tustin Ave. only offered me spot price for silver content. That would have added up to a big difference in what i got. And he is just a great, decent dude to speak with.
The owner here really knows his stuff. I've brought him silver spoons and various coins several different times for an assessment, and each time he knew the item's worth (and most notably, whether it was a fake!) within seconds of first glancing at it. He's got the shop nicely arranged and is welcoming and friendly, not to mention extremely helpful and informative. This is always going to be the first place I'll take anything silver or gold or any kind of coin. This guy is the best!
One of the most unwelcoming poor customer service experience I've had in a long time. the shop owner was absolutely not accommodating at all! in regards to product I was inquiring about even though I was ready to place an order and pay cash! he just showed me old product on the display glass plastic decaying, dusty and unpresentable to any customer! not to mention as his other worker or wife was walking in my girlfriend kindly smiles and said "good morning" she just brushed passed her and completely ignored her. I was so excited to check out this spot after seeing all the great reviews unfortunately my personal experience here was anything but great Extremely disappointed. I guess its ordering online for me.
