What started as a fun and promising day choosing pick charms for our kids unfortunately took a disappointing turn by the end. The kids had a great time picking out their items, and we were genuinely excited to support the shop and make a purchase ourselves after they left. However, the mood shifted unexpectedly when my husband, while we were finalizing our choices, made a light-hearted comment asking if the owner would blame him for trying to negotiate a lower price. Rather than taking it as a friendly or even typical customer inquiry, the owner responded sharply, saying, β€œYes, I can blame you.” My husband was surprised by the response and replied that it seemed unreasonable not to even allow an offer β€” which the owner took great offense to. From there, things escalated quickly and unnecessarily. The owner told us he would no longer sell us anything and essentially asked us to leave. We were taken aback by how rigid and unwelcoming the interaction became over what we thought was a very common, good-natured question in small business settings. It’s unfortunate that a day that started with joy and support for a local business ended on such a sour note. A little more patience and communication could have gone a long way. Humor isn’t for everyone we just didn’t realize that he wasn’t on the same page.

My husband came in and bought 10 1oz. silver american eagles from the owner Chuck, who was very helpful and answered all my husbands questions despite being busy with a influx of other customers. My husband said it is a great place and they have a almost endless variety of items ,coins silver, gold, jewelry. My husband may have found his new favorite store, thanks !!!

My absolute favorite jewelry store. I love the selection and the prices have always been fair, much better than the tourist hot spots. Checking out the estate pieces is always fun. There are some local artists represented. If I want jewelry, this is the only place I go.

This is by far mine and my husbands favorite shop. There is never a need to negotiate price because everything is a bargain in our eyes. I can probably walk around the shop for half an hour admiring all the coins, jewelry, estate items, as well as a wonderful collection of gemstone pieces. The owner has always been very kind and patient, he’s even able to make our one year old smile and grin. To anyone who decides to come on a busy day, please be patient and kind, he is the only gentleman running the show. I’ve seen way to many people be rude for no reason.
