Owner was very rude and judgemental based solely on appearance of customer. I'm a mechanic and I went in right after work with 2 coins that I had previously appraised for over $2,000 and this guy told me they were fakes even though the weight was exact to the tenth of a gram and the coin passed his "silver tester" even though he tried to say it didn't, Guess he didn't realize I could see the tester. Horrible, Fake, No knowledge!!
This shop was smaller than I expected but it allows for a personal experiment which I enjoyed. Steve is very knowledgeable and was able to take the time to answer all my questions being a first time silver buyer. In the end he gave me a very fair price for a 10 oz bar and a couple rounds. Will come back again. Thank you
I have met with Steve twice, and found him to be both honest and fair with his valuations. He explained the true market value of my family's small coin collection and he even shed some light on the history of other items I'd inherited from my great grandparents. Steve has been my local bullion and coin guy for almost 3 years now. I’ve purchased constitutional silver coins, silver eagles, vintage silver bars, rounds, and even some old coin rolls; and have also traded and sold there. He has always had very reasonable prices and the shop is a pleasant place to talk coins and bullion with some of the locals. It’s a very small, cozy shop with a large selection. My advice is to stop in regularly to check out the ever changing stock. You might just get lucky enough to find the occasional gem. One of my best pick ups from Steven was an old vintage 10oz poured bar from the LMC mint, it’s one of my prized pieces. You can really only find stuff like that by stopping in regularly and seeing what comes through.
