Southern Coin and Collectibles has a wonderful and knowledgeable staff, always willing to share their expertise on all types of collectibles for both buyers and sellers — kind, old-fashioned customer service in an increasingly impersonal world!

The owner, Ethan, was so nice and very knowledgeable. I learned a few things while I was there. I had spoken to him, and he assured me that he would pay me the highest amount I could get anywhere. So I ended up making the 3-hour dive to meet him and his staff to find out if his statements were true. All I have to say is take any Gold and silver to Southern Coin, you will truly be happy when you leave. Great service from everyone there. What a GREAT experience and a pocket full of money :-)

Absolutely the best buyers of precious metals and coins in Alabama. The friendly, knowledgeable staff give you top dollar. If you are looking to purchase precious metals, coins, or currency, they have a vast inventory. Don't waste your time at other shops.

Large selection and great variety, just small-minded service and attitude. One of the workers said it best when I visited. "We're interested as long as we can make money." Silver rounds were spot +$5. I would stick to the internet for any purchases unless you need to see something in person.

SC&C We met Ethan, Sharon, and Chuck at Southern Coin & Collectibles earlier this month. We found their operation to be top of the line bullion dealers and so much more. We found them to have honesty, integrity, and loyalty. I have worked in the industry for four years and experienced many dealers who treat their customers as a one time occurrence. They attempt to magnify their profits by taking advantage of their customers. SC &C is not like them. They give good and fair prices comparable to the biggest dealers in the nation. They exemplify the kind of company that all companies should emulate. Kudos to them. The only small downside we found is that their website does not post their spot values and buy and sell prices. Being from that industry, I realize that websites are difficult and cumbersome to establish and maintain. In spite of this drawback, we give SC & C our complete and wholehearted five star rating.
