No variety. They'll also give you like $5 for a $60 brand new jacket.

Sell clothes then buy clothes. Great concept! Prices are good, clearance prices better!

They take over 2 hours to go through clothes and don’t tell you that you don’t have to stay in store or about how long it should take. They push people in front of you just bc they have less than you. They sell clothes with rips and stains on them(pics included). They are over priced and they barely give you money for stuff that is in style and STILL HAS TAGS ON IT or HASN'T EVEN BEEN OPENED. They say they are taking all these different things but barely take anything of yours when you take it in even if it is exactly what they are taking.

This is a great store for high quality second hand clothes. They have several locations but I’ve found the Auburn store to have the greatest variety, probably due to being in such a big college town. If you are a guy hunting down jeans this is a great place for that, though most of the store feels like it caters to the college age women. I have not found them to give you very good prices for clothes you bring in to sell but for them to resell what you bring in at a good price they can only pay so much.

This was my first time thrifting and overall it was a good experience. I brought in some clothes I didn’t really mind letting go of for me it wasn’t about the money, I just didn’t want to throw them away. The employee did explain how the process works, so I appreciated that, but the customer service felt a little off. After I stepped away, I could hear them joking about who would have to look through my clothes, which came across as unprofessional and a bit biased. Other than that, the experience was decent.

In this location, it felt like they were annoyed that I was there just simply trying to buy a pair of jeans while they took my clothes to “buy.” I overheard the staff joke about who has to “deal” with my clothes. I thought that was very unprofessional of them. I don’t think I’ll ever shop in that location again. To make matters worse I overheard a few staff members talk bad about their ex employers or current employers which is why they are currently “hiring.”

This location tried to take 7 items for $16 when 1 item was bought for over $200 and one for over $100 the others $50+. That was a slap in the face to be low balled THAT much. I've been to Plato's closets across Alabama and some in South Florida and have NEVER been low balled THAT much. I happily took all my items back and rejected that low ball offer. When I browsed the store to see what items they were selling, I see mostly SHEIN and Fashion Nova items for WAY over priced. If I want SHEIN or fashion nova clothes, I'll buy them from their websites at a cheaper price than this store is selling it for. Additionally, the staff at this location were not friendly either. Helped another customer who very obviously stepped in front of me to check out, continued their conversations for over 2+ minutes while I waited to be helped, etc. just poor customer service overall. I will not be returning as a seller OR as a customer. While this does not affect a big company like this in the grand scheme of things, upon reading others' reviews, my experience was not unusual for this store location. I'd suggest whoever owns it look further into their workforce and their buying policies.
