Love Love this Pawn Shop!! Came by for the first time in 2019 and it was amazing. He has some good stuff there for very affordable pricing!!
His store is outdated. Has old things in there, when you take him something new, like a PS5 to sell he won't take it cause him giving out money is bad for business, I understand why his pawn shop is empty but the bait shop sell though, he rude when you come to pawn or sell him things. I guess the economy got him struggling to keep that business
Absolutely terrible service. Had my boyfriend go in to see about a ring and was immediately refused service because of how he looks. Prejudice people. Do not recommend. (Then lies in a response, told my boyfriend “I’m not doing this with you” to which my boyfriend left) have the day you deserve :)
I have known this family for years, and I personally know from behind the scenes that they are fair and have gone above and beyond for the community. It's a shame when people have personal issues outside of business that they feel the need to create a fake persona on the internet to bash one of the longest running family owned shops in Madison County . That alone should tell you all you need to know about them-you don't get that kind of longevity in this dog eat dog world without empathy and generosity for the community in whole. Yes, he has to turn down things-just because an item is valuable to you - doesn't make it valuable to the customers purchasing at this shop. At the end of each day, he has to keep his doors open, and that won't happen giving everyone the retail value that they paid for their item.... That's just not how the pawn business works. Check the place out for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
So far I've had a very positive experience with Buster's. I had a lot of unexpected expenses arise all at once and needed a little cash so I pawned some jewelry. I felt he gave me a fair price for them. 30 days to repay and retrieve my items seems generous. Will update when I return to get my items.
A+ service all around. The shop is small, but Mark—who was working during my visit—was welcoming, attentive, and happy to answer every question I had. Everything in the store was clearly priced, and he offered help without any pressure or hassle. No complaints at all. A straightforward, polite, and easy experience from start to finish.
