I called before going down and asked if they took iPads for loans. They said sure we do come on down. 5 minutes later I arrive and another gentleman says oh we don't. I said I just called and the gentleman I spoke with says yes we do and the other guys gives this funny look loans stutters and says well it could be locked. I said it's not locked and in perfect condition. It just says oh well no.... Possibly because I'm black... the interaction was suspect and he had no real reason why they wouldn't . I didn't want to do this but I hope that the real people who buy from pawn shops see this... It's more than a pawn shop. It is a galleria. A small one but a galleria of sorts none the less. I just never wanted to give away a good secret spot but I will for the people. I always get great service and more than that, they always have deals. The spread is more than other shops too. Jewelry service is excellent. That is mainly why I go there. The jewelers are great. I will say once they messed up but they fixed it at no charge and did it very quickly. They did more than what I asked for too. That is why I go back. You pay some in gold prices but compared to a jewelry store, you wont find better prices around. And their layaway is great too.
