I found Apple Barrel Antiques on Facebook and seen all the photos that they post every day showing the stuff that they have in their store and I wanted to go there so bad to find me a farmhouse buffet and decor but it was a little over two hours drive so I had to wait on my hubby to take me in his truck which took about 2 months! It was worth the wait and the drive! They have so many beautiful things! From antiques to farmhouse furniture and decor, you’re bound to find lots of beautiful things to buy! I found my buffet and I absolutely love it! The folks working there are so nice and the gentleman behind the counter came out and helped my hubby load it on the truck. Super nice people! We can’t wait to come back. The area also has lots of shopping and great places to eat at so you could definitely make a day of it in this town if you want to do some shopping.
We were traveling and came across this cute place. Very big building with lots of choices to choose from. So many new and old items that you can find. I found 2 farmhouse items that I am going to repurpose. Only spend $11 the first trip. I ended up going back same day to get the birdhouse before they closed. The 2 gentlemen working the front were very helpful and polite. Good old country boys. If I’m ever traveling back through, I’ll definitely stop back in.
Thank you ELI for greeting us upon entry. He even assisted us while we were looking as he was walking through the store. The bathrooms were spacious fresh smelling and decorated nicely. I enjoyed the unique items in this store as well as the vintage items.
The variety of items is great! Some items are antiques, others are newly made. They will even do custom woodwork projects. The staff is cordial and helpful. The store is very well-kept. They have a good assortment of old hand tools. Located at exit 188 in Oxford, Alabama.
