Bought a beautiful opal chip ring but unfortunately one of the chips fell out and I can't find his shop here in Coober Pedy, Australia. Really would like to contact you regarding getting it fixed here in Australia.
Andy was wonderful! My boyfriend and I went on a cruise and we stopped in Ketchikan Alaska, and I bought this beautiful ring. I had it about 2 weeks and the stone fell out. I reached out to Andy and I sent it back and he replaced the stone. He was awesome! I love the ring and earrings I bought there..thank you
I was told that the opals were mined and that the gold was real. After wearing the bracelet a handful of times, the stones became loose and bounced around in their settings. I had the settings tightened by a professional in my local area. The professional told me the opals were artificial and that the bracelet was gold-plated. Steer clear.
Great staff, nice store, prices more than fair. Bought a beautiful cross for my wife. Shop these local vendors and not the shops on the pier, much better deals.
I remember this place from when we visited Ketchikan in 2017… I knew exactly where I wanted to return for some keepsake jewelry. Got a beautiful pair of gold and black opal stud earrings. These will be great for understated elegant earrings. The gentleman who helped me, made the earrings himself. He was very helpful and friendly, did not hesitate to show me what I was interested in.
BUYER BEWARE, THEY WILL LIE TO YOU. We took the opal rings we bought to a jeweler to get looked at, the opals are lab created. I wouldn't care, and I told the shop worker that lab grown genuinely doesn't bother me, but that I wouldn't like it if someone lied to me. They still lied to me. They spun this whole story about a supplier in Australia, how they're Australian opals and the family has been doing this for generations blah blah blah. Really selling how special these were. I literally had lab grown opals on when I went there. I pointed them out and asked if I could find a matching purple ring. Well they don't have purple because purple doesn't occur naturally. Okay, fair enough, no purple. It's the commitment to the lie that bothers me most. All so they can upcharge to ridiculous prices. They know most of the people buying from them are tourists who won't find out they're frauds until we'll after they could possibly return something. Incredibly exploitative business practice.
