Good service, good deal
I will give 4 stars to this place, 1 star is because I spent...😂 Jokes apart very nice place to be. I shop with them since 3 years. This time the plan was nothing to buy, I just went to say hi to Steve and his wife. But just mentioning i will buy 3 carat diamonds studs on next visit, Steve showed me 2 pairs of studs and gave me the price for both. There was a big difference in price for 2 pairs. On asking he mentioned one is IGI eco friendly diamond pair and another one is GIA earth mined diamond pair. By explaining everything I ended up buying IGI eco friendly diamond pair of earrings. Steve is really nice person and he is one of the locally owned store not like seasonal jewelry store.
I would give zero stars if I could. My experience at Jewel Palace was nothing short of an absolute nightmare, and I am beyond furious. Two years ago, they sold me a ring that was missing a stone. When I came back to address the issue, they had the audacity to blame me for the missing stone, completely denying any fault on their part. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the staff’s attitude was downright rude and unprofessional. They acted like it was an inconvenience for me to ask for the product I paid for. I also bought a chain for my necklace that they promised was real gold. Not only did the chain irritate my neck and turn it green (classic sign of cheap materials), but when I went back to complain, they just shrugged it off like it was nothing. I’m convinced this place is full of liars and cheats who are more interested in making a quick buck than actually selling quality products. I will never step foot in Jewel Palace again, and I highly recommend that you don’t either unless you want to be scammed and treated like garbage. Do yourself a favor, PLEASE go anywhere else.
I wanted to purchase a diamond tennis bracelet. They showed me several and we agreed on a price for one and I bought it. No one ever said anything to me that the diamonds were not real, rather lab diamonds. Found out afterwards when they sent me an in house bogus appraisal. Wore it out of the store and the clasp broke on the sidewalk outside. They allegedly fixed it. It has broken again. Tried to negotiate a credit and they delayed for 8 months and finally denied everything. As far as I am concerned they are frauds. Stay away, run away, do not even go into the store. Bad, nasty people.From my too late look at other reviews, seems common issues. Reported to Better Business Bureau. They do not even respond. Go to the BBB site. Bad rating there as well. Scam artists!
Man, wish I would have read a review before purchasing here. Came here with my husband and we picked out a ring to buy. After having it resized, the salesperson came to the restaurant we were eating at to deliver it. Maybe they were going for customer service, but that in itself was weird. He asked if he could hold our baby then once holding him, he made a joke that he was going to take him home and started walking away with our baby. Extremely not funny. The ring we bought was missing THREE of the surrounding stones by the time I took it off for the evening that night. Cheaply made jewelry, crazy high prices, weird sales staff. Do not recommend.
My husband and I loved the service we received by Peter on our visit while cruising in 2023. My husband wanted to upgrade my wedding bands and I was hesitant. Peter explained the difference in lab grown and mined diamonds. We only had 4 hours in Port and after I hesitated for a very long time I finally told my husband yes. They worked diligently to remove my old saudered bands from my engagement ring so I could wear my 2 new bands with it. We received it back just in time to board the ship. As promised, we received the appraisal by email and I've been very pleased with my husband's purchase and surprise. Peter and his wife were very pleasant. On a humorous note, every time I said no Peter gave my husband a shot of Fireball, lol. We are returning in May 2026 and hope to purchase something to remember this final trip to Alaska and we're bringing friends! Highly recommend!😊💍
