Was able to visit Homestead Gifts on my last day in Soldotna/Sterling area. Absolutely loved the store, there were so many beautiful pieces and assorted gifts. I ended up buying a knife that was made in Alaska to remember my trip, but I enjoyed there was a great scale and variety of relatively inexpensive gifts to more high end quality purchases. Lovely local gift shop with amazing and unique gifts, friendly staff and fabulous prices. Found multiple gifts for myself and some friends back in the lower 48. Appreciate that there are t-shirt sizes up to 2x and even found one in 3x. Jewelry, Christmas ornaments, jade carvings, Russian dolls (including snowmen, Alaskan themed, penguins and more!).
