Husband bought me a ring there. Was appraised for$500 less than what he paid. Buyer beware.

International diamonds provides customers with false information. One of their sale tactics is telling customers they will get a free cruise if they purchase jewelry in the store. Well they will give paperwork to substantiate the free cruise but when it is time to plan for the cruise, International diamonds will not keep to their commitment based on the written paperwork. It takes over 6 weeks and the cruise line has to continuously check with International diamonds for every little approval. I will never purchase from International diamonds at all.

I purchased a Crown of Light ring at a different location. The store resized it when I bought it but it did not fit well. The ship was leaving so there was no option to take as is. I went to this location to have the resizing fixed. As soon as the sales person realized I was not buying anything their tone changed. They charged me an additional $70 USD to resize a ring that is their brand. Egregious behaviour. So much for standing behind your product. I now doubt the purchase value of the Crown of Light. I will now walk by the Diamonds International stores. Yes, I have all of my receipts should the company want to reach out.

Their $100 “good as cash gift cards” can’t be used to buy almost anything in the store. It’s only tanzanite and crown of light. Of course they don’t tell you that until your about to go to check out. It’s also conveniently left out on the card so there’s literally no way for you to know till you’re already in the store.

DO NOT GO to Diamonds International Even if they offer you a free gift, DO NOT GO to Diamonds International. They suck you in and I spent way too much money in there and they do not accept returns. When I got home, I went to two jewelers I trust and they both said they could not in good faith buy the pieces from me for cash since they were worth A LOT less than I paid for them. I tried to get my lawyer involved and I still had no luck. I am out a lot of money and have little to nothing to show for it.

Not Trustworthy! Attended an hour long presentation on my cruise ship with the promise of free tanzanite studs. Received a cheap made in china set of studs with absolutely no tanzanite inside of it. It is white but real tanzanite is blue. They stated they don’t give out those and tried to forcefully grab my paper from me but I managed to hold my grip. Shockingly lied to my face. They also give free necklaces according to another presentation I attended and gave a broken one instead. Complete waste of time and a scam.
