Friendly staff towards my children as they looked around.
I purchased a lovely Pearl ring while on my Alaska cruise. I had an issue and the store manager couldn’t have been kinder and accommodating in solving my issue.
The shop staff tried to tell the spot price of gold was $300 a gram when it's $108. Obviously they are just trying to hoodwink unwary tourists. 2.5 gram "nuggets" for $900! But for me they'll discount to $600 lol. Only 300% markup. Watch out!
I tried to just look alone at some of the items, the person was instantly in my face. I asked to be left to wonder after a few minutes I went & bought rings & earrings from the next ship.
Stopped here on our cruise and met the nicest lady behind the counter. She helpe me purchase two handmade pendants for myself and my daughter. She even sent us home with a chain for my daughter. My son was not left out as she gave him a little Alaskan necklace on the house. I love our bear and moose so much.
