Organizer submissions Show operators submit listings directly through our platform. These are reviewed and published after editorial approval.

Club directories State and national numismatic club websites and event calendars maintained by coin collecting organizations.

Show directories Public numismatic show listing directories and regional show calendars.

Organizer websites Official show websites and organizer social media pages (Facebook event pages, show websites).

Direct verification Phone or email contact with show organizers to confirm dates, venue, and admission details.

Dealer data sources

Dealer claims Dealers register and claim profiles directly, providing their own business information.

Business records Public business data including address records, phone listings, and website information.

Places data Supplemental data from mapping and business information services for hours, categories, and ratings.

Numismatic directories ANA dealer directories, coin show bourse lists, and numismatic association member directories.

How we maintain data quality over time

Directory data decays rapidly in the numismatic hobby. Shows move venues, change dates, or are cancelled. Dealers retire, relocate, or narrow their specialties. Without ongoing maintenance, even the most comprehensive database becomes unreliable within months. US Coin Shows addresses this through several mechanisms working in parallel.

First, we give dealers and show organizers direct tools to manage their own information. A dealer who claims their profile and keeps it current is a more reliable data source than any external directory. Second, our editorial team actively researches and updates listings that show signs of being out of date — broken website links, old phone numbers, or venues that no longer exist. Third, we operate a corrections pipeline that lets the numismatic community flag inaccuracies directly. Every correction submitted is reviewed and acted on by our team.

Each show and dealer page displays the date information was last verified or updated. This timestamp helps you evaluate how current the data is and decide whether to verify directly before acting on it. We recommend always calling ahead before visiting a dealer or traveling to a show, regardless of how recently the listing was updated.
